A private car with chauffeur will come and pick you up at your accommodation. As you get to Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, you will be taken to the citadel also known as the Adelaide fort.
You will then visit the Blue Penny museum to admire maps, objects and ancient documents testifying the discovery of Mauritius and the civilizations from Europe, Africa and Asia that colonized it.
Next, visit the atypical Port Louis market, the Mauritian seaport and the Caudan Waterfront, a shopping mall where various souvenir shops, clothes, cosmetics are grouped and where everyone will find their happiness.
You will then leave for the small village of Pamplemousses to have lunch and visit the 37 hectares botanical garden populated by trees, palm trees and endemic flowers but also species imported to Mauritius by the founders of the garden.
The day will end by visiting the Labourdonnais castle, a cultural and attractive place, flagship of the Mauritian heritage where the visit will end with a tasting of products of the castle which will delight your taste buds.
